About Teresa Hunt
Teresa Hunt is an American actress that has taken on challenging and unique characters such as Madam Poe in an online series with 4th Wall Entertainment and Molly in an Annie Wilkes inspired character, heartbroken over the death of her one true love with Reactant films. The added experiences of the 48hr film festivals and supporting local colleges, allowed her to study the film industry from the inside out.
She started her film career at the LA Acting Studio SD with coaches Andrew Benne and Irene Muzzy. This opened her up to the fascinating world of Meisner technique acting and short/long-form improvisation. This led Teresa to branch out to explore comedic improv with the renowned Groundlings and ComedySportz San Jose. To continue supporting her learning and growth, she has trained with Geoffrey Blake and has also taken accent training with Cooper Shaw. She is also training with Elise Arsenault for audiobook narration.
Teresa has been working to expand her repertoire. She recently booked an independent film The Fallin’ directed by Deven Spencer playing a homeless woman in San Francisco.
When she isn’t working on her craft, Teresa is a registered nurse with an emphasis in emergency medicine. She also has experience in pediatrics, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, outpatient care centers and rural nursing. To fill her free time, Teresa has a diverse array of interests including drive-in movies, falling into a great fantasy read and exploring the local sites.
